This article tries analyze the concept of faith in almizan. For this, it finds the concepts which Tabatabai uses to describe “faith” throughout the Quran, like intellectual peacefulness, practical commitment, affirmation\assent, obedience, assurance, faithfulness , trust , good deed , etc. Then, it tries to show both the meaning of those concepts in Tabatabais view and the situation of them in the existence of a believer. It also offers Tabatabais definition of certainty and knowledge that are very important in description of faith. Finally , it shows whether or not his conceptual network of faith has consistency. There is a gap between knowledge and action. Some early Muslim theologians have given some different solutions to create a bridge between them. This article tried to find and the bridge and the explain it in Tabatabais view.
