Abstract

Literature, and especially fiction, is one of the oldest tools that has been used since long ago as a platform for transferring the intellectual, cultural and ideological reserves of different religions and civilizations. On the other hand, in the last century along with the progress of human sciences, many efforts have been made by Muslim thinkers to benefit as much as possible from hadith sources in fields such as medicine, economics, psychology, etc. Topics such as short stories and novels – due to their modern nature – at first glance, seem to be far topics to hadith texts; while one can find writings that are presented in a story-oriented and novel-like format with hadith concepts. The treatise known as Conversations of Hosniyeh is one of these writings. Using the descriptive-analytical method and library sources, this article addresses the question, "To what extent can the dimensions and aspects of the interaction of story elements and narrative data in Conversations of Hosniyeh be described?" Accordingly, while enumerating the technical aspects of modern fiction writing in this text, the extent of the expansion of the narrative concepts is evaluated in light of artistic effects related to the knowledge of storytelling. This article, in its role, can provide solutions for the literary and artistic reproductions of such writings to those who aspire to broaden the horizons of knowledge.
