Fighting Jihad is one of the important teachings of Islam. Throughout the history of Islam, some orientalists, relying on this matter, have introduced Islam as a religion of force and sword, and accused it of resorting to violence to impose beliefs. In Islam itself, some people have provided the necessary excuse for this accusation by misapprehending the nature of combative jihad. Therefore, the detailed analysis of the nature of combative jihad from the perspective of the Holy Qur'an is very important and has shaped the purpose of the present research.
This research is theoretical in two stages; The first stage of research using the content analysis method; And the second stage has been done in an interpretive and analytical way. The statistical community of the research is the Holy Qur'an, which was examined in full, and for the validity and reliability of the research, the coefficient of agreement between the coders, and the multi-layering of the sources were used.
The results of data analysis and analysis contain the following points: - None of the verses related to combative jihad have been abrogated and each of them still has its own Sharia ruling with its own limitations. - It is not possible to fight with infidels, polytheists and people of the book only because of their disbelief or shirk, but fighting with them goes back to things like: enmity and trespass, sedition, oppression, breach of contract and violation of their work....
